When can I start accepting credit cards?
Merchant accounts are generally approved within 24 hours. Thereafter, if there are no outstanding issues with your terminal or software, merchants can begin processing payments on the next business day.

I'm not sure what terminal, equipment or software is best for my business?
Please consult with your local sales representative regarding the various options available so that they may match your unique business requirements with the best point-of-sale solution for you.

Will I be trained to use the credit card terminal?
Please contact your sales representative or contact us toll-free at 1-800-327-0093 (24 hours a day, 7 days a week), so you can get help at any time.

When do my transactions get funded?
Typically in 2-3 banking days after the bank receives the transaction for the Merchant to receive funding, although in other cases it occurs the next day.

Will I receive a statement?
MCPS mails a monthly statement with detailed charges, all deposits, and totals for that month. Also as a subscriber to eMerchantSupport you can log on at any time to view, print or download past statements.

What if I need help with my account?
Please contact Customer Service at 1-800-327-0093 for more information on how our Customer Support Group can help your business. Technical Support is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. In addition, merchants may review their account at any time online at www.eMerchantSupport.com.

What is your privacy policy?

How do I change my bank account information?
To change your checking account information, you can fax us either a pre-printed voided check along with your merchant ID# and signature, or a bank letter on bank letterhead with the new account information, along with your merchant ID# and signature. Fax to customer service at¬ 1-800-971-1063.

How do I get a voice authorization?

How do I cancel or pay off the lease of my equipment?
You will need to contact your leasing company directly.

Can I use my PC to process transactions instead of a terminal?
Yes. MCPS allows you to use software applications to simulate electronic terminals.
